In the subjunctive, vos takes the same form as tú in careful speech. The imperfect subjunctive also has an -se form (recibiese), more common in writing.

The tú form is the él form of the present: recibe. Usted, nosotros and ustedes come from the present subjunctive (reciba, recibamos, reciban).

Watch out
It's spelled with a b and an i, not like “receive”: recibí tu mensaje. It also means having guests over: recibimos a unos amigos.
